Hi, I am Erica, a Nationally Certified Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Reflexologist. I am a valuable member of the Washington Reflexology Association and a Certified Infant Massage Instructor with the Loving Touch Foundation. I hold multiple specialty certifications, including sports and aromatherapy. I am the founder of Still Waters Massage and Reflexology.
I received 1,000+ hours of training at Ashmead College in Everett, WA (2002). This training also included an internship with Providence Hospital. After graduation, I received my certification in Aromatherapy and Spa. I started my career with Essential Therapeutic Massage in Lynden, WA. I left Essential Therapeutic Massage to open Mountain Bay Massage in Lynden, WA. In 2015, I moved to Moscow, Idaho, to work with Gritman Medical Center, focusing on advanced prenatal/postpartum care. I was honored to be added to the “Top 10 Licensed Massage Therapists of Idaho” website. In 2019, I accepted the position of Lead Massage Therapist. In 2023, I left Gritman Medical Center to open Stillwaters Massage and Reflexology.
I am enthusiastic about using massage (Swedish, Deep Tissue), manual techniques (Myofascial Release, Trigger Point), and Reflexology to meet patient’s goals, recover faster from injury, and achieve better quality of life for my patients. My experience includes working with a variety of patients, including sports, women’s health (pregnancy, post-partum care, infertility Reflexology), degenerative diseases, chronic pain, headaches, autoimmune disorders, and physical and emotional trauma. I have always been interested in learning about the body and mind and discovering natural ways to facilitate healing. At Still Waters Massage, patients receive an integrated and customized treatment plan to address their healthcare needs and goals.
As a Certified Infant Massage Instructor I lead parents and/or caregivers in massage techniques during a private session or community class. Research shows infant massage helps babies in the NICU thrive, decreases cortisol levels related to stress, improves sleep patterns, increases muscle tone, boosts cognitive and motor skills in infants, and provides an opportunity for healthy attachment and bonding with parents/caregivers.
When I am not in the office, you will find me outside hiking, kayaking, attending all sporting events, enjoying art/music, and taking continuing education classes. I am enrolled at Western Governor’s University in their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Healthcare Management program.
